Chelsea, all done!

Well the 2010 Chelsea flower show is all over, the sculptures were well received and I am very tired.

After preparing for this event for nearly two years it’s all over and I am having a well deserved rest at home. I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience of creating the work and designing a show stand, and showing my work to a wide audience from all over the world. During the show I have spoken to visitors from Spain, America, Canada, Holland and Switzerland as well as visitors from all corners of Great Britain.

Over the next six months I will be assessing the success of Chelsea  to see if it is feasible for me to undertake another RHS show, I have got my sights set on going to RHS Hampton Court Palace next year.

Highlights of Chelsea-well meeting Alan was great, getting to know some amazing sculptors such as Andrea Geile from Scotland and Will from Australia, seeing famous people, but most of all seeing the look on the faces of the ticket winning project participants when they saw the stand.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me get to Chelsea, with special thanks to my family who without their constant love and support this would not have been possible.
