Join artist Rachel Carter for a workshop to learn how to create a handwoven garden sculpture.

About this event

Set in the beautiful Derbyshire village of Melbourne, join Rachel and learn how to create a hand woven spherical sculpure for your home or garden.

Throughout the day you will be guided step by step on how to use her trade mark swirl weave technique that she uses on large scale landscape sculptures. 

You will be using Eco-fibre in the new colour Slate Grey and learn how to apply the soft supple lengths onto your frame. 

All materials will be provided along with light refreshments throughout the day. Melbourne has some fantastic cafe's and restaurants to take advantage of for lunch.
